C.A.R.E. Ministries

C.A.R.E. Ministries exist to partner with people through the seasons of life to provide direct and indirect access to resources in addressing short term support needs as well as work toward connecting people to the larger church body and service opportunities.

Christ’s overwhelming love compels us to build healthy relationships by addressing needs with His radical GRACE.

The way we live out Christ’s grace is by offering CARE. Each of the ministries offered falls under one of the guiding principles of CARE and is consistent with our mission statement and principles stated above.

Counseling

SLCC was established to offer Christ based professional counseling services to the church and the community. If you are struggling and would like assistance, we are here to come along side of you, pray with you, connect you with people who are available to help both inside and outside of the church. We provide 1 -2 free consultations for anyone who considers SouthLake Church their home church. We are happy to meet with you, pray with you and assist with connecting you to resources in the church and in the community to best meet your needs.

Resources

Are you tired? Worn out? God seem distant? Shame is the feeling that no matter how hard you try, you can never be good enough or perfect enough. You may work hard at relationships but still struggle to get along with your parents, your spouse, your children or people at work or church.

Shame No More addresses topics such as embarrassment, guilt and shame, shame based relationships, forgiveness, grace filled relationships, learning new healthy life skills and how to live with shame no more. It's a dynamic six-part DVD series, with handout & study guide CD, that will challenge your shame!

Encouragement

SouthLake has a team of gifted and caring people who work together to meet the pastoral care needs of individuals and families in our community. They are available to step in when you need some special care or encouragement...

• grieving a death or serious illness
• the homebound
• a job crisis
• a family crisis (including divorce, separation, family relationships)
• spiritual crisis
• or any other time you need some special help, prayers or encouragement
