SouthLake Small Groups


Tim DeeringSmall Groups are the places where SouthLake connects person to person, where the larger church becomes small. They are intended to help people meet within community as well as encourage a closer walk with Christ. It is SouthLake's desire to see people Care for one another, spend time in Prayer with one another and Serve others as a group.

There are several types of groups to be involved in including; Alpha Groups, DVD Studies, Shared interest groups, 20's & 30's groups, Parents of Young Kids and Spiritual Formation groups.

Erik and Mary Timmons20’s & 30’s Coach: Erik & Mary Timmons
Erik and Mary lead a team of small groups that consist of adults in their 20’s & 30’s. They are mixed groups of singles & married couples. Please contact Erik & Mary to get involved in a new small group.
 

Pam WheelerWomen's Small Group Coach: Pam Wheeler
Women's small groups encompass any which focuses on the development of women specifically.
 
 

Wayne Abbott & Janice LeonettiAlpha Coaches: Wayne Abbott & Janice Leonetti
Wayne & Janice lead a group of small groups focused on an eleven-week opportunity to explore the validity and relevance of the Christian faith today centered around a meal, a video presentation, and small group discussion.


Heather MayerSpiritual Formation: Heather Mayer
Heather is focused on coaching leaders of both women’s small groups and Spiritual Formation groups. Spiritual formation groups focus on the development of bible knowledge and theological truths.


Rob WolcottMen’s Small Group Ministry Coach: Rob Wolcott
Rob is focused on coaching leaders of men’s groups in creating Spirit led groups where men can share their hearts, struggles and victories. Men can be sharpened by one another and grow closer to God.


Parents of Young KidsPYK 'Parenting Your Kids' Coach: Dave & Morgan Tyree
Dave and Morgan lead a team of PYK groups that meet in homes around the Westside. Please contact them to get involved in a PYK group.



Scott & Tawnya LandisMarriage Small Groups Coach: Scott & Tawnya Landis
Scott & Tawnya are focused on coaching leaders of married couples and marriage focused small groups. These groups will be focused specifically on doing marriage bible studies and marriage improvement studies.
